Despite our best efforts, we do not want to spoil your enjoyment of pro wrestling, but almost everyone is aware that not everything that takes on in the ring is true. The victors have already been determined in advance, much of the dialogue you hear has been scripted, and the wrestlers also perform a great deal of acting when the crowd is present. There may be no connection between wrestlers who are labeled as brothers or family members, and the same is true for wrestlers who are billed as love partners. In truth, there are wrestlers that have teamed up with one another at some time in their careers. Stephanie McMahon & Triple H
This has had to be one of the most well-known and powerful partnerships in the history of professional wrestling. For more than 15 years, Triple H, the WWE superstar, and Stephanie McMahon, the company’s chief brand officer, have been together. Their involvement in a famous storyline in 1999, in which Triple H married her after drugging her and dragging her to a drive-through chapel in Las Vegas, cemented their place in wrestling history. A year later, the two began a serious relationship, which culminated in their marriage in 2003.
Nikki Bella & John Cena
Unfortunately, Nikki Bella and John Cena were not able to go down the aisle with the other couples who had gone before them. Individually, they are two of the most well-liked representatives in the organization. They had been together for six years when they had a high-profile breakup in the summer of 2018. They were engaged in a manner that was reminiscent of classic wrestling. During WrestleMania 33, he got down on one knee and proposed to her after they won a tag-team bout!
Brie Bella & Daniel Bryan
Similarly, Brie Bella was involved in a well-publicized relationship with another wrestler, albeit hers is still going strong today. She is married to Daniel Bryan, who is well-liked by WWE fans. They exchanged vows in 2014 during a ceremony that included a large number of other wrestlers in attendance. John Cena, who was in attendance with Nikki, was one of those who had attended the event. In an episode of the E! reality series Total Divas, in which Bella also appeared, an episode of the wedding was broadcasted. Bryan appeared to be involved with AJ Lee on the screen, but this was only for show, as it turned out. Indeed, in real life, she is married to another wrestler.
AJ Lee & CM Punk
When she was a part of the WWE during the early 2010s, AJ Lee had to be one of the most well-known female wrestlers in the world. CM Punk, her real-life husband, was possibly the most renowned man in the world at the time of their marriage. The power couple has previously collaborated on movie projects, however Lee has been associated to a number of other wrestlers in a number of stories. I just wanted to let you know that these two tied the knot in 2014 and are still happily married. They have, however, both decided to leave the world of professional wrestling.
Brock Lesnar & Sable
Sable was extremely popular in the late 1990s, which was the heyday of professional wrestling. She also made an appearance in Playboy, which went on to become the best-selling magazine in history thanks to the sales of that issue. Brock Lesnar entered the company in the early 2000s and went on to become one of the most popular champions in the world. This is a position that he continues to hold to this day. Even though they were never the subject of a love storyline on WWE, they did get married in 2006. On top of that, they are the parents of two sons!
Booker T & Sharmell
Booker T was the winner of the WWE’s King of the Ring tournament in 2006. His on-screen love relationship was referred to as “Queen Sharmell,” and he addressed himself as “King Booker.” These two superstars have previously collaborated in the TNA, WCW, and WWE organizations. They’ve been together since 2000, to be exact! In 2005, they were formally united as husband and wife. It turns out that Booker T proposed to her when she was scrubbing the dishes in their kitchen. As she said to Essence magazine, “I fell in love with him because he’s an extremely wonderful and kind person.” Aww!
Miss Elizabeth & Randy Savage
When you saw the topic, we’re confident that the images of Randy “Macho Man” Savage and Miss Elizabeth popped into your head right away. During the 1980s, the two wrestlers had great chemistry on screen and were a great team. At SummerSlam 1991, the WWE stars exchanged vows in the middle of the arena floor. This moment has been referred to as “one of the most memorable moments in the history of wrestling.”
