The Fintech Association of Nigeria has said it is set to discuss new approaches to sustain financial technology growth and impact in the country.

The association said this in a statement announcing plans for the Nigerian Fintech Week slated for October 2021.

In the statement signed by its Resource Manager, Seun Folorunso, the association said it was set to advance elements and solutions for sustaining the fintech growth and impact, showcase new technologies and promote strategies for domesticating them to solve critical national challenges.

It added that it would focus on effective collaboration, level of government, regulatory, infrastructural and investment support during the week.

According to the association, the event, with the theme ‘Sustainability and ecosystem building’, will host about a million attendees across multiple locations in Nigeria and online, from more than 60 countries globally.

On the outcome of the fourth week, it said, “We were able to establish a Reguvators Forum, a forum that brings representatives of regulatory agencies and fintechs together to foster engagement, interaction, collaboration and co-creation of solutions to equilibrate innovation and regulation.
